Use the documents your customers accept as the starting point. Check the invoice workflow and any required network delivery, payment format or extension as separate parts of the purchase.
Questions for your shortlist
- Which formats and delivery channels do your customers require?
- Do those needs depend on add-ons, providers or usage credits?

- What happens to custom code when you install an update?
What Pepper covers
Pepper includes PDF invoices, eligible EUR payment QR codes, local UBL export, recurring schedules and recorded payments. Fixed-price milestones can become invoice drafts; purchases can feed an accountant hand-off.
Its UBL feature downloads a file. Pepper does not transmit over Peppol or collect online payments. Its Update page checks the supplied files, so a customized installation needs its own update and staging process.
Read the current FusionInvoice store and add-on terms. Compare the whole workflow, not the base license alone. Pepper has no FusionInvoice migration tool.
