Your business. Your choice of AI.
Ask for the work.
Stay in control.
Use your own AI client to work with the records in Pepper. Prepare invoices, follow projects and find the answers behind your numbers. You approve the sensitive steps.
Optional MCP server and HTTP API, included with Pepper. No AI account needed to use the suite.
From a request to a real record
Less moving between screens.
More getting the work done.
Your client understands the request. Pepper checks access, calculates amounts and saves the permitted changes in the same records your team uses.
“Prepare an invoice for Northwind Studio: three days of design at €500 a day.”Example request · your client’s wording may differ
An editable €1,500 invoice draft, before any selected tax. No invoice number. Nothing sent.
Review the customer, dates, lines and tax in Pepper. Issuing the invoice needs your approval.

Helpful with the work.
Careful with the consequences.
Read and prepare
A permitted client can find records, save drafts and make supported everyday edits. A read-only connection cannot change records.
Review the exact change
Issuing, sending, recording payments, publishing, deleting and exporting wait for your approval in Pepper. See the amounts, recipients and values before you decide.
Run it once
After approval, the client executes the change. A changed record, expired request or lost permission stops it. Retrying the same request does not repeat the effect.
Approval allows a change; the executed result confirms it happened. Only an approved Stripe refund moves money. Recording a payment describes money that moved elsewhere.
Across the suite
The context is already connected.
Start with the customer. Follow their quote, project, hours and invoice. Every tool keeps the delegated person’s permissions and record access.
Customers & sales
Find customer context, qualify leads, prepare quotes and review the pipeline.
Projects & everyday work
Work with tasks, tracked time, boards, files, comments, people and saved views.
Invoices & money
Prepare documents, explain balances and read reports. Sends, payment records and exports wait for approval.
Widgets & customer services
Prepare widgets and placements, read responses and analytics, and work with bookings, listings, offers and content. Publishing and other sensitive changes need approval.
Settings & oversight
Read installation health and audit history. Request supported settings changes or exports for a person to approve.

Your access rules.
- Enable connections in Pepper. The installation owner turns on access. It starts off.
- Choose the person and permitted apps.Give the client only the access it needs, with an expiry. The person’s permissions and desks still apply. Connections act for platform staff, not customer-workspace members.
- Add the MCP address to your client.Use a compatible remote MCP client. Sign in through Pepper where supported, or use an owner-created connection credential.
A deliberate choice
Know what you share.
Your records stay under your access rules.
Pepper runs on your hosting. When your client requests a record, Pepper returns the information that connection may read. If your client uses a cloud model, that service receives the retrieved information under its terms.
You can close the connection.
Revoke access at any time. Permissions are checked again on each call, and changes show the person and connection in record activity.
Some steps always stay with people.
Passwords, two-factor sign-in, connections, approvals, updates and backup download or restore are handled in Pepper. A client cannot act as a customer to give consent, book a visit or claim an offer.
Read the human-only boundariesFor developers and agents
One set of business rules.
Two ways to connect.
MCP and the HTTP API call the same business actions. Both enforce the same permissions, exact calculations and human approvals.
Model Context Protocol
tools/list · prompts/list · resources/readDiscover granted tools and schemas, follow ready-made jobs and open permitted records as resources. Larger tool lists include tool search.
HTTP API
GET /api/v1/toolsUse the same operations from your server or command-line client, with structured results and errors. No model is required.
The details that make integrations dependable
- Discover before calling
- Read the live tool list for this connection. Each tool has input and output schemas. Use context and record search to find the right IDs.
- Keep amounts exact
- Pepper calculates stored totals. Read monetary strings with their currency and scale; keep different currencies separate.
- Retry without duplicating work
- Every write uses an idempotency key. Reuse it for the same request. Out-of-date approvals need a fresh review.
- Follow the result
- Use returned record links and structured errors. Record text is data, never an instruction to grant access or change the job.
Start with the work
you repeat every week.
Explore Pepper first. Connect a client when it helps. There is no built-in chat assistant; your chosen client and any model charges are separate.
