DesksWork

Deliver the work and bill the hours.

The Work desk keeps a project and everything it needs in one menu: the tasks and boards, the hours, the files and Docs, the calendar, the people and the rules that run after an event. Home shows the work figures and your week of assigned tasks.

When the work is done, the tracked time and approved milestones are ready for an invoice draft on the Money desk.

Projects

See budget, hours and margin on one project.

Choose fixed-price, hourly or mixed billing. The project shows unbilled time, invoiced work, costed time, margin and the hours budget, and states the records behind each figure.

Time tracking

Track time against the task.

Start a timer or enter exact minutes. The weekly timesheet shows hours by task and day with daily totals, and you can correct an entry before it is billed.

Track time

Bill tracked time

Turn unbilled time into an invoice draft.

Choose the billable time, review the grouped hours, rates and totals, and include approved milestones when the project mixes fixed-price work and hours. The draft waits for your review before you issue it.

Boards

Organise work on boards with linked records.

Create private, team or workspace boards. Cards carry assignments, labels, dates, checklists, files and custom fields, and a linked card shows the current state of the customer or invoice it points to. Import Trello JSON or route a form response to a card.

Calendar

Plan events beside the dates in your work.

See meetings, task dates, deadlines, bookings and follow-ups in Month, Week, Day or Agenda. Keep a personal calendar private or share it with selected readers. Repeating events keep their local clock, and private feeds can be revoked.

Plan events and follow work dates

Docs

Write Docs with templates and approved editions.

Write proposals and procedures, insert exact record values and keep saved versions. Approve an exact edition and PDF before sharing an expiring recipient link. One editing session writes at a time.

Write and share Docs

Proofs and progress

Get the customer’s approval on the exact file.

Invite named contacts to choose images or PDFs and approve one exact proof version. A revised file needs a new decision, and the earlier approval keeps its evidence. A job page shows the stages and collects answers, choices or a collection time.

Send proofs for approval

Automations

Connect an event to the next action.

Create a follow-up task or open work after a won deal. Build the rule in Flow or List, save it inactive and activate it after review. Each run uses its creator’s current access, and run history keeps every step result.

Workload

Balance the team’s week.

Workload compares each person’s available hours with planned work and logged time for the selected week, and prints a weekly PDF to share.

Review the team’s workload

Files

Browse files like a desktop.

Browse folders in a list or a grid, drag files to move them and drop files from your computer to upload. Images open in one viewer. Text and code files up to 1 MB open in an editor where each save adds a version. Share a file through an expiring link when your permissions allow it.

The limits stay visible

What this desk does not do.

Every desk works on the same customers, documents and files. Switch desks in the top bar and the records stay where they are.

  • Staff approve milestones. Customers approve proofs and answer job questions through invited pages; there is no customer portal for the whole suite.
  • Calendar exchanges ICS files and private feeds. It does not synchronise with CalDAV or an outside calendar provider.
  • Automations prepare the next action. Issuing, sending and signed webhooks run only after a person approves the exact step.

Who gets this desk

Owners and admins have every desk. They give each role or person the desks they need and can rename this desk or arrange its pages. Below Admin, a desk also limits what a person can open, even through a saved link or an AI client.
